ABOUT
(She/her) I lead with body positivity - goals of muscular & cardiovascular strength, bone density as well as functional flexibility. I realize that group fitness classes are not for everyone, but for those that enjoy them - this will be a fun, supportive and effective place to get stronger and relieve stress. Coaching, specifically group fitness classes and personal training of people of widely differing fitness levels, has been my life's work since 2003.
You can expect a wide variety of classes and class lengths to choose from. Motivation comes in so many forms and I choose to try and build a supportive, inclusive community. Together we encourage each other, attempt fun challenges & see real progress with friendship and stress relief as the goal.
From the beginning, I have chosen modalities that support and complement each other in a way that avoids overuse injuries and encourages recovery after hard strength challenges. My certifications include; ACE Personal Training as well as Schwinn Indoor Cycling, NESTA Mat Pilates, Pop Pilates, NESTA Yoga for Athletes & YogaFit 200hr. Since 2000, I have lived with my husband who is a terrific cook and fixer of most things, small dogs and egg-laying hens. My two grown sons are handsome, hilarious and I am lucky to see them and my wonderful granddaughter frequently. When I have time, nothing makes me happier than spending time with dear friends and the small circle of family I love more than anyone. Life is too long to eat bad food, drink bad beer and read crummy books.
